Last Supper
1. The story of this photo journal is about the different kind of people and personalities that have been executed in prisons. Just by seeing what they wanted their last meal to be you can somewhat imagine who they were.
2. The images each represent a different person. Even though these prisoners were being executed they were all people and like everyone else they liked food. Their last supper was in a way a representation of who they were.
3. The author told this story to show how these prisoners had wants just like other people and things that they would want in their last day. Each one had something different that they wanted as their last meal and that represented them in their last few hours.
4. These images were pretty impacting. You don't really think much of these prisoners especially ones being executed. But seeing these pictures maybe even one of the same thing you would have for a last meal, makes you realize that they are still people and may even have similarities to you.
5. The images enhance the story a lot because they show a visual of these foods that you may not expect an insane criminal to be eating. For example seeing the honey bun or the Frosted Flakes was surprising to me because if I was thinking of a man being sent to execution and eating their last meal I would imagine a huge steak or burger, not sweets and cereals.
